Obituary for Veronica Jean Hunt (Irwin)

Veronica Jean (Irwin) Hunt, 66, of Triadelphia, WV, passed peacefully away at 9:09 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV.

Veronica was born on November 19, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the daughter of the late Curtis Sr. and Geraldine “Gerry” (Trump) Irwin.

Veronica was a graduate of Wellsburg High School and was baptized in the Presbyterian faith. She worked for many years in the bakery making bread at Foodland, Riesbeck, Shop-n-Save and Giant Eagle. Later in life, Veronica worked at the Wal-Mart at the Highlands. Many will remember her for her smiles, reading of murder mysteries, playing Bingo and loving Sunday football.

In addition to her parents, Veronica was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Hunt.

Veronica is survived by her three children, Harold Curtis Hunt of San Diego, CA, Bonnie Klages and her husband, Ronald of Sand Hill, WV, and Phillip Hunt and his wife, Denise of Wheeling, WV, six grandchildren, Logan and Madison Hunt, Sierra and Brody Klages, and Tubba and Autumn Hunt, three siblings, Pinky Irwin of Triadelphia, WV, Christine
Ferrebee and her husband, Del of Virginia, and Curtis Irwin Jr and his wife, Linda of Bellaire, OH, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 2:00-6:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main Street, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551. Following the viewing, Veronica will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, you are invited to send food and drinks to the funeral home for the fellowship time during the viewing.
