Obituary for Jack Leroy Roupe Sr.

Jack Leroy Roupe Sr., 87, of Follansbee, WV, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV.

Jack was born on July 23, 1928 in Waynesburg, PA. He was the son of the late Everette Lee and Clara Frances (McNemar) Roupe.

Jack retired from Weirton Steel Corp as a Crane Operator.

In additional to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Ann (Dawson) Roupe, two sons, Kenneth “Kenny” James Roupe, Jack Roupe Jr., two grandsons, Timothy Jr. and Brian Roupe, and three brothers, William “Bill”, Robert “Bob” and Gale “Fred” Roupe.

Jack is survived by his three children, Tim (Missy) Roupe, of Lisbon Falls, Me, Everette “Booge” Roupe of Burgettstown, PA, Tina (Dan) Callahan of Steubenville, OH, 11 grandchildren, Norma Ann (Erald) Kilkenny, Eric, Christopher, Anna, Ryan (Megan), Charles, Trevor, Steven Roupe, Michael Loy, Daniel Jr. (Chrissy) and Robert J. Callahan, seven great grandchildren and one on the way, a sister, Nell Cox of Follansbee, WV, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 PM and again on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 10:00 until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717, with Pastor Joy Leasure, officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville, OH.
