Obituary for John Francis George

John Francis George, 65, of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 7:17 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH, after a sudden illness.

John was born on March 31, 1950 in Denver, CO. He was the son of the late Crist and Sally Christopher.

John served in the United States Army. He retired from the AEP, Cardinal Plant.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher George.

John is survived by wife, Celeste R. (Virtue) George of Follansbee, WV, two children, John Christopher George and his wife, Carolyn of Carnegie, PA, Christina Reinert and her husband, Kim, Lexington Berg, Germany, five grandchildren, Crissa George of Memphis, TN, Caitlin, Caylee, Caydence, and Contessa George of Carnegie, PA, a father and mother-in-law, Clarence R. and Marvel A. Virtue of Follansbee, WV.

Private family viewing followed by cremation under the direction and honor of the James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717.
