Obituary for Richard Lee Ankrom
Richard Lee Ankrom, 64, of Wellsburg, WV, formerly of Colliers, WV, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015 at his residence.
Richard was born on September 15, 1951 in Weirton, WV. He was the son of the late Ralph E. and Retha V. (Richmond) Ankrom.
He was a member of the Colliers Sportman Club. He worked with Aspen Tree Trimming for many years. Many will remember Richard for his love of fishing, hunting and flea markets.
Richard is survived by his two brothers, Ralph (Joyce) Ankrom Jr. of Pleasant County, WV, and Robert (Peggy) Ankrom of Colliers, WV, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 12 Noon until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 with Pastor Ryan, officiating.
Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Colliers, WV.
