Obituary for Mark Louis Lucas

Mark Louis Lucas, 66, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 11:18 AM on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.

Mark was born on December 11, 1948 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late Paul and Gladys (Finley) Lucas.

Mark served as a SP4 in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in Germany. He worked at former Gen Pak, Wellsburg, WV.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his 12 brothers and sisters.

Mark is survived by his wife, Kathy (Withrow) Lucas of Wellsburg, WV, a son, Troy A Lucas of Colliers, WV, three grandchildren, Erik Lucas of Germany, Joshua and Erin Lucas of Colliers, WV, two step-grandchildren, Mindy and Tim and several nieces and nephews.

Mark’s family has selected a veteran’s honor cremation under the care of the Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main Street, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551.
