Betty (Zellars) Lemasters, 90, of Follansbee, WV, passed peacefully away at 12:35 AM on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV under the care of the dedicated staff and Valley Hospice.

Betty was born on November 15, 1924 in Cross Creek, PA. She was daughter John and Violet (Phillips) Zellars. Betty is a member of the Follansbee Presbyterian Church. She was the former owner of B&B Grocery, Follansbee, WV.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pyle, grandson-in-law, Major Jeffrey Hackett, great grandson, Drew Hackett and two brothers.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Gerald) Cervenak of Follansbee, WV, three grandchildren, Robert (Michelle) Beltrame of Imperial, PA, Danelle Hackett of Bethany, WV, Betty Jane (Mike) Hill of Follansbee, WV, five great grandchildren, Robert “Bobby” Beltrame Jr., Artie Hackett, Brittany Sands, Blake Hackett, Bryan “Pat” Sands, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 with niece, Margie Zellars, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date next to her husband at Cross Creek Cemetery, Burgettstown, PA.
