"Aunt Jan" was one of the first people in my life who saw me differently because she was different too. I remember wanting to visit her and Tommy all the time. It was there that I had my first introductions to Star Trek, Evil Dead and all things Irish and my love for those things and many other things known to the nerd/geek kingdom have only grown. She probably didn't know it at the time, but her support and encouragement had a great impact on my life and helped me become who I am. She knew when to be serious but also how to have fun. More than anything, I loved the experience of being a Klingon (around age 10-11) with her and everyon else in the time that I was. I wish I had done more, but I always look back on those moments, trying to learn Klingon and doing what was explained to me as "Klingon Arm Wrestling"... dressing up, attending parades. Some of my favorite memories ever. Thank you.
