Obituary for Mary Frances Ryan
Mary Frances Ryan, 65, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV.
Mary was born on June 20, 1950 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Ronald H. Sr. and Mary Frances (Suddoth) Ryan.
Mary lived 20 years in Alaska before coming home to the Wellsburg Area, once she was home she became a very active member at the Wellsburg Church of the Nazarene. She worked over 17 years as a Security Guard with Jefferson Security at Wheeling Nissan, Follansbee, WV. Many will remember Mary for her love of fishing, playing the guitar and keyboard, Brooke Football, her black belt in Karate and being an award winning bible quizzer.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her dear close friend, Fred Pepe on August 11, 2015.
Mary is survived by her two brothers, Ronald H. Ryan Jr and Edwin L. Ryan, both of Weirton, WV, a sister, Melba Jean (Roger) Cavey of Wellsburg, WV, a niece, Becky Ryan of Wellsburg, WV, Fred Pepe’s family, and her dear and caring church family.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551 and again on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 10:00 until time of Service at 11:00 AM at the Wellsburg Church of the Nazarene, Washington Pike, Wellsburg, WV, with Pastor Dennis Yingling, officiating.
