Obituary for John "Jack" Koltz

John "Jack" Koltz, 85 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.

John was born on January 19, 1931 in Follansbee, WV. He was the son of the late John and Alta (Thompson) Koltz.

John worked many years on the railroad and auto body shops in Wellsburg, WV and Steubenville, OH.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Koltz, a brother, George Koltz, and a sister, Madeline England.

John is survived by two brothers, Paul Koltz of Steubenville, OH, and James “Jimmy” Koltz of Florida, four sisters, Carol Rogers of Follansbee, WV, Nametta Buchanan of Florida, and Rita Weatherhead, of Follansbee, WV, Rosemary Lamatrice of Arizona and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 PM and again on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 10:00 until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main Street, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551 with Pastor Joy Leasure, officiating.

Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
