Obituary for Esta Faynell McGee (Bennett)
Esta Faynell (Bennett) McGee, 81, of Colliers, WV, passed peacefully away on her 66th Wedding Anniversary to be reunited with her dear husband at 12:02 PM on Friday, July 1, 2016 at her residence under the care of her family and Valley Hospice.
Esta was born on December 24, 1934 in St. Mary’s, WV. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Nell (Davis) Bennett.
Esta worked many different jobs, but most of all she cared and tended to her family.
In addition to her parents, Esta was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Dean McGee in 2014, a brother, Russell Bennett, and two sisters, Jean Boley and Laura Kane.
Esta is survived by her two sons, Reverend Ronald McGee and his wife, Jessica of Follansbee, WV and Randall McGee and his wife Janet of Colliers, WV, two grandchildren, Randall McGee and Joni McGee, a great granddaughter, Abigail Rose McGee and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 10:00 until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 with her son, Reverend Ronald McGee, Officiating.
Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
