Obituary for Evelyn Virginia Pyles (Henceroth)
Evelyn Virginia Pyles, of Beech Bottom, WV, passed away at 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.
Evelyn was born in Pleasant Valley, WV. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Hazel (Livingston) Henceroth.
Evelyn was a member of Holy Family Mission, Beech Bottom, WV, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Beech Bottom Volunteer Fire Department, Women of the Moose, where she served as Collegian Regent of Chapter 1354 of Wellsburg, WV. In her spare time, Evelyn enjoyed golfing, bowling and participating in the bowling leagues, which include, All American Lanes, Steubenville, OH and Town and Country Lanes, Wellsburg, WV.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Pyles, three sisters, Helen Colbert, Catherine Walker, and Margaret Henceroth, and a brother, Donald Henceroth.
Evelyn is survived three nephews, Jimmie and Kim Walker, both of Brilliant, OH and Fred Henceroth of Rayland, OH, a niece, Marcie Henceroth of Columbus, OH, and great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 3:00-7:00 PM with Women of the Moose Service at 7:00 PM and again on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 10:00 until time of Liturgy of the Word at 11:00 AM at Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551, with Father Dan Pisano, officiating.
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Family Mission, Beech Bottom, WV 26030.
