Obituary for Kevin Dean Richardson

Kevin Dean Richardson, 44, of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at his residence.

Kevin was born on January 27, 1972 in Weirton, WV. He was the son of Dean and Sharon (Orr) Richardson of Follansbee, WV.

Kevin was a member of the Follansbee Presbyterian Church and attended the First Baptist Church, Wellsburg, WV. He worked many years as a mechanical engineer and was proud of the success that he had during his career. Many will remember Kevin for his love of music, being an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan and golfer, but most of all for being a loving dad and uncle.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parental grandparents, Clenon and Thelma Richardson and maternal grandfather, Thomas Orr.

In addition to his dedicated parents, Kevin is survived by his daughter, Susan Richardson of New Hampshire, a brother, Aaron (Andrea) Richardson of Crafton, PA, a sister, Kelley (Michael) Mills of Boardman, OH, six nieces and nephews that he adored, Reed, Norah, Eli, and Levi Richardson and Emma and Michael Mills, a maternal grandmother, Helen Orr of Follansbee, WV, his wife, Shannon Richardson, and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 3:00-8:00 PM and again on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 10:00 until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV with Pastor Frank Haas, officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
