MaryAnn (Welling) Wagner, 80, of Follansbee, WV passed away unexpectedly at 3:07 PM on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.

MaryAnn was born on July 18, 1936, Steubenville, OH. She was the daughter of the late William Wylie and Mary Elizabeth (Conley) Welling.

MaryAnn was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, Steubenville, OH, Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing, West Liberty University with a Bachelor in Nursing, Allegheny Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Christian Ministry. She was the proud owner of MaryAnn Manor, Follansbee, WV. MaryAnn was a member of the Finley United Methodist Church, Steubenville, OH and recently attended due to illness, Hooverson Heights Church of the Nazarene. Many will remember MaryAnn for her care and kindness shown to the residents at MaryAnn Manor, steadfast faith in the Lord, enduring knowledge to study and learn everyday; but most of all, the love of her family.

In addition to her parents, MaryAnn was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Welling.

MaryAnn is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Arthur Martin Wagner, two daughters, Kathleen “Kathy” Gilkey and her husband, Jeffrey, and LuAnn Ensminger and her husband, Wayne, all of Follansbee, WV, two step daughters, Carol McHugh and her husband, Steve of Brillant, OH and Tammy Nachman and her husband, Joe, of Bloomingdale, OH, seven grandchildren, Carrie (Thomas) Beynon of Sewickley, PA, Aaron (Jessica) Ensminger of Wellsburg, WV, Emily (LuReis) Smith of Follansbee, WV, Jeannette (Nate) Barrett of Sandusky, OH, Shawn (Amy) Nachman of Elyria, OH, Chris (Rebecca) McHugh of Steubenville, OH, and Nick McHugh of Brillant, OH, 11 great grandchildren, Emelia Anne and Brooks Beynon, Aiden Ensminger, Rowan, Colin and Felicity Smith, Clayton Barrett, and Deziray, Tony, Blake, and Landen Nachman, a brother, Gary Michael Welling and his wife, Linda of Austin, TX and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV and again on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Finley United Methodist Church, Steubenville, OH, with Reverend Delbert “Dib” Lash, officiating.

Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Steubenville, OH.
