Obituary for Helen Marie Spiegel (Crawford)
Helen Marie (Crawford) Spiegel, 89, of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 12:12 PM on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, PA.
Helen was born on September 16, 1927 in Bethany, WV. She was the daughter of Fred and Margaret (McFadden) Crawford.
Helen worked for the glass factory and the American Legion, both in Wellsburg, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex husband, John Yevuta, four brothers, Charles, Harold, and Sherman Crawford and William McFadden, and a sister, Luella Holloway.
Helen is survived by her companion, Louis “Lou” Fadlem of Follansbee, WV, two children, John Yevuta and his wife, Maryann of New Martinsville, WV and Rebecca Gooch and her husband, Robert of Wintersville, OH, three grandchildren, Trisha Bland, Andrea Ledger and her husband, Rhys, and Aron Yevuta, two great grandchildren, Brett Bland and Aderyn Ledger and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717, with Pastor Imre Gulyas, officiating.
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemtery, Wellsburg, WV.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brooke-Hancock Relay for Life American Cancer Society, C/O James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV 26037
