Agnes Irene (Chadwell) White, 84, of Colliers, WV, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Methodist Hospital, Acrcadia, CA while living with her daughters.

Agnes was born on November 2, 1932 in Wellsburg, WV. She was the daughter of the late Carl Andrew and Rachel (Henry) Chadwell.

Agnes was a proud member of the Community of Christ, Hooverson Heights, where her nephew serves as Elder of the church. She worked many years for the Paper Mill in Wellsburg, WV and Isaly’s, Weirton, WV. Many will remember Agnes for her love of making home-made bread and skill of embroidering.

In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her loving husband, Oliver Jonathan White Sr., three brothers, Eugene, Dean, and Harley Chadwell, four sisters, Mae Noble, Ruth Chadwell, Beverly Kiefer, and Mary Lou Sutherland.

Agnes is survived by her four children, Agnes Lynn Baronowski and her husband, John of California, Oliver Jonathan White Jr. and his wife, Virginia of Chicago, Terry Paul White of Colliers, WV, Cynthia Lorraine Bernard and her husband, Alfred of California, five grandchildren, Nicole, John, Katherine, Steven and Michael, four great grandchildren, John David, Douglas, Kayla, and Brooke, a brother, Carl Chadwell and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM and again on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717, with her nephew, Gene Chadwell, officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
