Obituary for Viola "Violet" Hreso (Ciccarelli)
Viola “Violet” (Ciccarelli) Hreso, 92, of Follansbee, WV passed away at 7:13 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH.
Violet was born on April 2, 1924 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of Antonio and Adelina (Ceccarelli) Ciccarelli.
Violet was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, WV, where she served on the funeral luncheon committee. Violet retired 20 years from Watson and Associates, Wellsburg, WV after working for the Sheet Metal, Follansbee, WV and Mammoth Plastic, Wellsburg, WV
In addition to her parents, Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Hreso, two brothers, Harry and Adam Ciccarelli, four sisters, Emma Embree, Helen Kulin, Elevera Pustovarh, and Josephine Ciccarelli.
Violet is survived by her two sons, Dennis Hreso and his wife, Maria of Valparaiso, IN and Greg Hreso of Follansbee, WV, a sister, Jenny Monfred of Wintersville, OH, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM with a 6:00 PM Vigil Service at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717, where funeral will commence on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 9:20 AM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 13, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, WV with Father Thomas R. Gallagher, presiding.
Interment will at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
