Louis Everett Britton, 58, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 1:15 PM on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his residence.

Louis was born on June 3, 1958, Wheeling, WV. He was the son of Sandra (Carr) Warden of Wellsburg, WV and the late Joseph Britton.

Louis worked as a fork lift driver for Coronet Foods. Many will remember Louis for his enjoyment of fishing, cook outs, lawn work and sporting events; but most of all, love of his family, especially the grandchildren.

In addition to his father, Louis was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Britton.

Louis is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sherry (Booth) Britton of Wellsburg, WV, two children, Lori Booth and her husband, David Seymour of Wheeling, WV, and Steven Snodgrass Sr. of Wellsburg, WV, seven grandchildren, Loryn Booth, Hayden Seymour, Steven Snodgrass Jr., Isaac Seymour, Shelby Snodgrass, Avery Booth, and Kallan Snodgrass, four great grandchildren, Maura and Olivia Williamson and Aleah and Nova Seymour, six siblings, Cathryn O’Conner, Ricky Britton, Jody Britton, Diana Shaw, Anthony Warden, and Joseph Britton, and several nieces and nephews.

Private Cremation Service will be held under the direction and care of the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551.
