Agnes Lucille Bucy, 76, of Wellsburg, WV passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Weirton Geriatric Center, Weirton, WV.

She was born on January 18, 1941 in Wellsburg, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, William D. “Scottie” and Ida P. (McPherson) Campbell, two brothers, Andrew G. Campbell and William B. Campbell, a sister, Margaret Jane Haught, sister-in-law, Shirley Campbell, sister-in-law, Madelyn J. Campbell, and mother-in-law, Nora Porter, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her brother, Myers D. Campbell of Mingo Junction, OH, her husband, John D. Bucy of Wellsburg, WV, a son, John D. Jr. and Terry Bucy of Sistersville, WV, two daughters, Pamela and Bill Roden of Cortland, OH and Paula and Scott Johnson of Wellsburg, WV, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Lucy enjoyed crocheting and embroidering, and helping teenagers with Bible Study for quiz tournaments at other churches; as well as helping at the Anderson Home, Follansbee, WV.

There will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Wellsburg Church of God, Bethany Pike, Wellsburg, WV, with Pastor Jim Seabright, officiating.

The family wishes to thank Weirton Geriatric Center and Valley Hospice for the loving and compassionate care of Lucy.

Memorial contributions may be made in Lucy’s memory to the Weirton Geriatric Center.
