Obituary for Cheryl Ann Fox (Whitehead)

Cheryl Ann  Fox (Whitehead)
Cheryl Ann Fox, 72, of Weirton, WV, formerly of Rochester, PA, passed away at 9:20 AM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Heritage Valley Medical Center, Beaver, PA after a strong and courageous fight.

Cheryl was born on March 30, 1945 in New Bedford, MA. She was the daughter of the late Roy Arthur and Lillian Ruth (Mayes) Whitehead.

Cheryl was Episcopalian by denomination of faith and attended Christ Episcopal, Wellsburg, WV with her son. She was proud to be the owner/operator of the former Kalico Kat Crafts, New Brighton, PA. Many will remember Cheryl for her crocheting and knitting of dish cloths and towels, having a vendor booth at the Beaver, PA and Follansbee, WV festivals, her New England accent but most of all her dedication to her children.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded by her dear husband, Joseph Fox, her dear cat, Precious and two brothers.

Cheryl is survived by her two children, Michelle Yoho and Christopher Fox and spouse, Eric Fithyan, a brother, Steve Whitehead and spouse, Sally, a dear friend, Ann Layne, three cats, Coco, Snowball, and Oreo and several other family members.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717.

Private family graveside service will be held at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, PA. Interment will follow next to her dear husband, Joseph, who she missed dearly.
