Cynthia Lee Curtis, 76, of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 12:05 AM on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Mary Ann Manor, Follansbee, under the care of the Staff and Amedisys Hospice.

Cynthia was born on September 29, 1940 in Martins Ferry, OH. She was the daughter of the late Vincent V. and Teresa Lavern (Heidenreich) Curtis.

Cynthia was a long time member of the Follansbee United Methodist Church. Many will remember Cynthia for her love of beach trips to the arcades and shops; but most of all, being a social butterfly that always wanted to be planning a party.

In addition to her parents, Cynthia was preceded in the death by her brother, Vincent C. Curtis Sr.

Cynthia is survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret Jean Curtis of Johnstown, PA, a nephew, Vincent C. Curtis Jr. and a niece, Laura (Michael) Simmons, all of Greensburg, PA.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 12 Noon until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 with Pastor Penny Calmbacher, officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
