The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jack Skidmore Sr. can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: My condolences to the family, the bible describes a God of comfort, "who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the rcomfort that we receive from God." ( 2 Corinthians 1:3,4) May God comfort you during this during this difficult time and may you find comfort in his promise of a resurrection. ( John 5:28,29).

Condolence: I knew Jack from playing music with him and Denzel Lynn Fortune Band, but he not only was a great base player he was and awesome friend. I was saddened to hear of this news , my family also were very close to him Dave Buffington and Ron and Dino . Musicians have that bond and it never leaves you. Jack left an imprint on the Hearts of everyone who knew him. He will be missed.....May God Bless you and your family at this time of sorrow ....

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Thought about him often. Had hoped to meet up with him and just reminisce about old days. But, just like it happens so often, I waited too long. Jack was the first bass player that I shared an audience with. I was only 14 but, he helped me get through it. All the good things I've read here about him, are true. I have nothing but good memories about him. My heart goes out to Jackie and the family. Good family... lead by a good man. God Bless you Jack. Gonna miss you.

Condolence: So sorry to hear that Jack passed away. He always had a kind word for me, when we would run into each other, where ever. It has been said that Jack was a big fan of the band The Outlaws. I like them too, something we agreed on. I can see him jamming with Hughie, and Billy. God Bless the Skidmore family. RIP Jack.
