George Eli Rosonovich, 92, of Follansbee, WV, passed away 8:46 AM on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Trinity Medical Center ER, Steubenville, OH.

George was born on May 26, 1925 in Follansbee, WV. He was the son of the late Eli and Anna (Brabec) Rosonovich.

George served is country proudly during WWII in the United States Navy receiving European Theater Ribbon with one star. He retired from as a welder from Koppers’ Industry, Follansbee, WV.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by Anne (Sebeck) Rosonovich.

George is survived by his two children, George (Tas) Rosonovich of Virginia and Christine (Gerard) Beard of FL, two sisters, Margaret “Marge” Haught and Joann Varlas and many nieces and nephews.

A private burial was held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV under the honor and care of the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717.
