David Andrew Uhor Jr., 75, of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 11:06 PM on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Trinity Medical Center, Steubenville, OH.

David was born on October 4, 1941 in Follansbee, WV. He was the son of the David Andrew Uhor Sr. and Marjorie (Dunn) Uhor.

David served his country in the United States Navy. He was Christian by faith. David retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Coke Plant on Sept 1, 2003 after 43 years of service. Many will remember David for his love of wood working including furniture, shelves, and crafts, watching football, going camping and fishing, but most of all, attending his breakfast club with the Retirees from the Coke Plant.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Ellen Elizabeth Uhor.

David is survived by his loving of wife of 52 years, Linda Sue (Brady) Uhor, who were married on November 4, 1965, a son, Timothy David Uhor and his wife Tricia of Follansbee, WV, a grandson, Timothy “Little Guy”, four sisters, Patricia Ann Schwertfeger and her husband, Kenny of Follansbee, WV, Katherine May LeMasters of West Liberty, KY, Floretta Dunn Lipovich and her husband, Charles of Weirton, WV, Barbara Sue Galownia and her husband, James of Steubenville, OH and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 3:30 until time of Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 with Minister Bill Helsel, officiating of the Hooverson Heights Church of the Nazarene.

Private interment will be held at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
