Santy  Galiano
Santy Galiano, 81, of Colliers, WV, passed away at 11:58 PM on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH.

Santy was born on April 20, 1936 in Wellsburg, WV. He was the son of the late Santy and Patti (McKinney) Galiano.

Santy served his country proudly in the United States Army. He worked in the Hill Top Mine. Many will remember Santy for his outdoor activities such as trapping, hunting, fishing, but most of all, his work with Ginseng plants.

In addition to his parents, Santy was preceded in death by his daughter, Eleanor Lynn Galiano, three brothers, Frank, Phillip, and Donald and three sisters, Virginia, Vicky, and Viola.

Santy is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lindy (Black) Galiano of Colliers, four sons, Bill (Sherry) Galiano of Wellsburg, WV, Eric (Wilsie) Galiano, Mark (Michelle) Galiano, all of Colliers, and Santy Lee Galiano of Follansbee, WV, a brother, Bill Galiano of Wellsburg, WV, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 3:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 5:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717, with Pastor Tim Colvin officiating. Military Honors by the WV Army National Guard and the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.

Interment will be held privately at St. John Cemetery, Colliers, WV.
