Daniel E. Miller, 82 of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 4:00 AM on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV.

Daniel was born on August 2, 1935 in Bay City, MI. He was the son of the late Alfred S. and Ruth E. (Corey) Miller.

Daniel was a member of the Follansbee Presbyterian Church and the Elks, Wellsburg, WV. He worked as the General Manager of Servomation Corporation Bay City, MI and Water, Weights, and Wellness of Weirton, WV. Many will remember Daniel for being an avid golfer, a crewman on a racing boat, numerous outdoor activities including skiing, whitewater rafting, diving and rack ball; but most of all, for positive attitude and to always smile.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his step son, Mark Harrison.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Patricia Ann (Lighthizer) Miller of Follansbee, WV, five children, Diana Stump of Bay City, MI, Dona Tiede and her husband, Larry of Kawkawlin, MI, Mark Miller and his wife, Mindy, John Miller and his wife, Veronica and Kathy Miller, all of Houston, TX, two step children, David Harrison and his wife, Janice of Bloomingdale, OH and Joan Harrison of Ft. Lauderdale, FL 12 grandchildren, a step grandson, Andrew Harrison and his wife, Nina, several great grandchildren, a step great grandson, Fox Van Harrison, a brother, Jack Miller and his wife, Laverne of Ravena, NY, a niece and a nephew.

A private family viewing followed by cremation will be held under the director and care of the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717. Interment will be private at Oakland Cemetery, Mingo, Junction, OH.
