Dorothy "Dottie" L. (Stephens)  Moore
Dorothy “Dottie” L. (Stephens) Moore, 76, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away quietly 9:28 AM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at her home surrounded by friends and family.

Dottie was born on December 25, 1940 in Wellsburg, WV. She was the daughter of the late Ira and Jenny (Van Camp) Stephens.

Dottie was retired from Outboard Marine Corp (OMC) in Stuart, FL, where she resided for 30 years. Upon returning to her beloved hills of WV, Dottie enjoyed the company of her family and caring for her animals and gardens.

In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Keith Moore, a brother, Conrad Stephens and a sister, Wilda P. Freeland.

Dottie is survived by her brother, Karl D. Stephens of Wellsburg, WV, three nephews and a niece, Eric C. Freeland of Wellsburg, WV, Lori A. Siburt of Wheeling, WV, Ira Stephens of Pittsburgh, PA and Adam Stephens of Wellsburg, WV, and several great nieces and great nephews.

As per her wishes, Dottie has donated her body to the WVU School of Medicine.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Kadesh Chapel Church, adjacent to Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
