The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy "Dottie" L. (Stephens) Moore can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Forever Friend

She was mine and I was her forever friend.  We had known each other for over 40 years, worked together, shopped together, laughed together, cried together and just was there for each other.

Even though we were miles apart, we talked to each other every week, sometimes several times a week.

We were a great team at OMC, none better!  There hasn't been such a team before or since we left.

Dottie loved her animals, all of them, when they departed, a piece of her went with them.  Talk about a loving home for her animals, she had the best.  I can see her in her heavy coat, snow shoes, in the middle of winter, going to feed her llamas twice a day!  and of course, fresh bananas!

She loved WVU football! Got her WVU gear on to watch the games, football and basketball.  She was a fan!

As with her other closest friends, Mary, the twins Jean and Joan, and Fred, a piece of us went with her.

There will never be another Dottie Moore, nor should there be.  She is dearly missed.

Love to her friends and family,

Cindy (Lawrance), her forever friend, forever.
