Randy Lee Gaston, 57, of Colliers, WV, passed away at 3:15 AM on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Weirton Medical Center, WV.

Randy was born on November 1, 1960 in Weirton, WV. He was the son of the late Lawrence Edward and Mary Ann (Paolisso) Gaston.

Randy worked for the City of Follansbee in the water department as a backhoe operator. Many will remember Randy for his enjoyment of fishing, hunting and four wheeling; but most of all, for the good old days when he played football at St. Anthony’s High School and Brooke.

Randy is survived by his fiancée, Helen Smith of Colliers, WV, her two children, Joe Olentick and Shelly Smith, and three grandchildren, Jayden, Kenny, and Cole, who were the light of his life, step-mother, Sheila Gaston, six sibilings, David (Lindy Snyder) Gaston of Follansbee, WV, Larry (Tina) Gaston of Colliers, Denise Gaston and her Fiancée, Lynn Hessle of Tennessee, Adam (Lacey) Gaston, Amanda Gaston (Jason) Drum and Ryan Gaston, all of Wellsburg, WV, nine nieces and nephews, David E. Gaston, Klair (Dusty) Casteen, Adam Wenger, Nikki and Dana Snyder, Cody, Ralee, Karson and Brody Gaston, and a great nephew, Tristan Gaston.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 4:30 PM until of Memorial Service at 5:00 PM at Grace Point Ministries, 4244 Sunset Blvd, Steubenville, OH with Pastor Jeremy Ellis and Randy ‘s nephew, Cody Gaston – Youth Minister, officiating, reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to a College Fund for his grandchildren through his brother, David Gaston or Grace Point Ministries, Steubenville, OH, please director donation to James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV 26037.
