Obituary for Harold "Dean" Boley
Harold Dean Boley, 81, of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 3:45 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Golden Oaks, Follansbee, WV under the care of the wonderful staff and Valley Hospice.
Dean was born on September 13, 1936 in Weirton, WV. He was the son of the late Walter F. and Pansy (Wetzel) Boley.
Dean was a member of the Hooverson Heights Church of Christ where he served as Deacon. He retired from Weirton Steel as a Buggy Driver. Many will remember Dean for being an avid bowler, hunter, and fisherman, but most recently as Santa for his friends and the residents at Golden Oaks, Follansbee, WV.
In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lee (Randolph) Boley and a brother, Ray Boley.
Dean is survived by his two sons, Ron Dennis and his wife, Donna of Hundred, WV and Fred Boley and his wife, Rhonda of Colliers, WV, three grandchildren, Courtney and Lindsay Dennis and Katrina Cimorelli and her husband, Anthony, a sister, Louise Fisher and her husband, Richard of Virginia, a brother, Gary Boley and his wife, Brenda of New Cumberland, WV, a sister-in-law, Vera Boley of Georgia, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM and again on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 with George Henry, officiating.
The family of Dean would like to publicly thank the dedicated staff of Golden Oaks, Follansbee, WV for their dedication and care of their dad and pap.
