Robert “Bob” Dee Miller, Sr., 63, of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 12:20 PM on Monday, February 26, 2018 at his home under the care of his family and Valley Hospice after a long and tough battle against cancer.

Bob was born on July 28, 1954 in Follansbee, WV. He was the son of the late Earl Sr. and Hilda M. (Coen) Miller.

Bob worked as a truck driver for the City of Follansbee. He was known on the C.B. as Rifleman. Bob was a member of the Wellsburg Church of Christ. Many will remember Bob for his love of hunting, fishing and watching wrestling; but most of all the love of his wife, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his infant brother and sister.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dorothy Jean (Kowalik) Miller of Follansbee, WV, three children, Theresa Jones of Weirton, WV, Lisa Miller and Robert D. Miller Jr., both of Follansbee, WV, six grandchildren, Ashley, Kara, Austin, Ryan, Jessica and Tylee, two great grandchildren, Corbin and Aiden, six siblings, Earl (Peggy) Miller, Carl Miller, all of Wellsburg, WV, Mina Marie (Ed) Roberts of Follansbee, WV, Rex (Brenda) Miller of Wellsburg, WV, Albert (Janie) Miller of Smithfield, OH, and Jane (Chris) Henthorn of Wellsburg, WV, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717, with Minister Daniel Reugg, officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
