Condolence From: Maryann Droll
Condolence: Dear Ones -- What a joy it was, to visit your loved one last Wednesday! He was just being readied for a haircut, so I began singing "Jesus Loves me" while the hair stylist started to cut his lovely, thick, rich hair (I was sorry to see it go, but he was still so very handsome with the fresh haircut). As I sang, the hair stylist joined me; then, an aid and a nurse joined in, and we ended up with a "Barbershop Quartet," also singing "Amazing Grace" and "In the Garden." Honestly -- I had no idea that I was singing for a Master Sergeant USAF Retired! But, even if I never knew that, it was certainly a privilege to sing for such a handsome gentleman. May God's peace and blessings be yours during this most tender season; and, may He give you many lovely memories, so that you may always have roses in December. Ever hoping . . . Always in Jesus, Maryann (Music Ministry Volunteer)
