Margaret “Peggy” (Spears) Jenkins, 50, of Yorkville, OH, passed away at 8:03 PM on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH.

Peggy was born on September 18, 1967 in Norfolk, VA. She was the daughter of John Sr. and Margaret (Cleveland) Spears of Colliers, WV.

Many will remember Peggy for her love of Nascar; but most of all, her ability to write poems.

In addition to her parents, Peggy is survived by her companion, Craig “Digger” Wilt of Yorkville, OH, five children, Alecia (Eric) Martin of Spencer, WV, Amanda “Mandy” Pardieu of Kentucky, Gary Alcaraz-May of Steubenville, Christina Reynolds of Wheeling, and Marissa (Brandon) Summers of Spencer, WV, eight grandchildren, a brother, John Spears Jr. of Colliers, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousin.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 1:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 with her uncle, Frank Spears, officiating. Following the service, Peggy will be cremated.
