Kenneth Charles  Lucas
Kenneth Charles Lucas, 68, of Beech Bottom, WV, passed away at 10:20 AM on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his residence.

Kenneth was born on April 6, 1950 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late John and Helen (Niziul) Lucas.

Kenneth was a proud graduate of Wellsburg High School and went on to graduate from West Virginia Institute of Technology in Computer Electronics and Electrical Engineering where he ran cross country. He worked for 30 years at Weirton Steel in the Tin Mill and as a Line Operator in addition to being a part of the Independent Steel Workers Union Steward. Kenneth was the owner of Three Dragons Martial Arts, Wellsburg, WV. He was a member of the Chess Club of Weirton and Wheeling, WV, where he battled to be WV State Champ. Kenneth and his brothers participated in the Tom Brown Jr. tracking school and Smith and Wesson Training for Pistols. He was a NRA safety instructor.

Kenneth is survived by his seven siblings, David John Lucas, Barbara Sue Lucas, Joan M. Lucas, Brian L Lucas and his wife, Barbara, John Lucas Jr. and his wife, Renee, Ellen Haught and her husband, Jeff, and Tim Lucas and his wife, Melissa and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be received on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551.

Private burial will be held at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom.
