Herbert Mozingo, Jr., 85, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 3:02 AM on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Mary Jane Brooks Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH.

Herbert was born on November 23, 1932 in Wellsburg, WV. He was son of the late Herbert Sr. and Della (Crawford) Mozingo.

Herbert worked at Murphy's Construction and Eagle Manufacturing. Many will remember him for his work at Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg and his friendship with the Chambers' family; but most of all, for his love of hunting.

In addition to his parents, Herbert was preceded in death by his 8 brothers and sisters.

Herbert is survived by his four children, Christine Miller and her husband, Christopher Miller, Herbert "Butch" Mozingo and his girlfriend, Joyce Smith, Robert "Bob" Mozingo and his wife, Lulu, and Jeff Mozingo, all of Wellsburg, WV, five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, five siblings, Thomas Mozingo and his wife, Joyce, Ralph Mozingo, Marietta Caswell and her husband, Bill, Hazel Reed, and Paul Joseph Mozingo and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private cremation will be held under the direction and care of his friends and colleagues at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551.
