Esther R. (Marino) Adams, 85, of Goose Creek, SC, formerly of Winter Haven, Florida and Follansbee, WV, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Esther was born on July 21, 1932 in Weirton, WV. She was the daughter of the late Patsy and Josephine (Kurtz) Marino.

Esther was a member of Tent Presbyterian Church, Colliers, WV. She was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald T. Adams, a daughter, Estelle Ruth Adams, three brothers, Mike, James, Frank and Bill Marino, and two sisters, Dorothy Ann Myers and Mary Ann Kolling and a granddaughter Tina Davis.

Esther is survived by her six sons, Joseph Anthony Adams of Kentucky, Gerald Cline Adams and his wife, Sharon of Richmond, OH, William John Adams and his wife, Kathy of Frederick, MD, James Allen Adams and his wife, Ranee of Hilliard, OH, Robert Thomas Adams and his wife, Melissa of Goose Creek, SC, and Ronnie Paul Adams and and his wife, Maureen of Pasadena, MD, 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, a sister, Josephine Griffo of Wintersville, OH, two brothers, Robert Marino of Davenport, FL, and Patsy Marino Jr. of Follansbee, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM again on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717 with Reverend Doctor Frank Lewis, officiating.

Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Colliers, WV, next to her dear husband, Gerald.
