Beatrice Madeline (Brown) Dixon, 81, of Steubenville, OH, was called home to be with her Lord and personal savior, Jesus Christ on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Martinsburg, WV.

Beatrice was born on December 18, 1936 in Cliftonville, WV. She was the daughter of the late Felix Sr. and Lena Mary (Palmer) Brown.

Beatrice was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Steubenville, OH. She worked at Mammoth Plastic, Wellsburg, WV and later in life became an LPN.

In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Jacqueline Dawn Dixon, three brothers, Stewart, William and Felix Jr, three sisters, April, Saundra Brown and Barbara Thornton.

Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Montgomery (Michael Smallwood) of Martinsburg, WV, two grandchildren, Jess Leon Montgomery and Jason Lee Montgomery, two great grandchildren, Aviana and Ezekiel Montgomery, four sisters, LaVenia Royal of Wellsburg, WV, Mildred Jeter and her husband, Perry of Columbus, OH, Norma Elaine Clark of Steubenville, OH, Maxine Brown and her husband Albert Brown of Weirton, WV, two aunts and a host of, nieces and nephews and their families and many close personal friends.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 10:00 until time of Homegoing Service at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 221 North 7th Street, Steubenville, OH, with Bishop Jermaine V. Moore Sr., presiding.

Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV. Following the interment the family invites every back to Mt. Zion for a Repass.

Mrs. Beatrice M. Dixon's family at this time of need and great sorrow have entrusted their mother's care to Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551.
