Robert Franklin Bowman, 91, of Steubenville, OH, passed away at 8:27 PM on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Catherine's Care Center, Steubenville, OH under the care of the staff with the assistance of Amedisys Hospice.

Robert was born on May 4, 1927 in Wellsburg, WV. He was the son of the late William Franklin and Grace Lucile (Mounts) Bowman.

Robert worked as a laborer in the steel mill. He was protestant by faith.

Robert is survived by his caregivers and friends at Catherine's Care Center, Steubenville, OH.

Private interment will be held at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV under the direction and care of the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551.
