Rose (Sachini) Budash, 94, of Monticello, NY, formally of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 9:30 PM on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Catskill Regional Medical Center, Monticello, NY.
Rose was born on August 4, 1924 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of the late Louigi Sachini and Ersilia (Grille) Sachini Cipoletti.
Rose was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, WV. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and watching football, especially the Steelers.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John “Boo” Budash,a stepfather Altobrando Cipoletti, a sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Albert Prantil, and two grandchildren, Amanda Budash and Captain Brock Richard Budash of the USMC.
Rose is survived by her three children, Richard and Beverly Budash of Steubenville, OH, Deborah and David Holland of Monticello, NY, and John and Debra Budash of New Port Richey, FL, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law, Alfonso and Delores Sachini and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717.
Mass of a Christian Burial will be held on Monday 5,2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1017 Jefferson Street, Follansbee, WV with Father Cody Ford, presiding.
Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV. Immediately following a luncheon reception will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Captain Brock Richard Budash Scholarship, C/o James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV 26037.
