Obituary for Henry F Lawrence
Henry F. Lawrence, 93, of Weirton, WV, formerly of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 4:50 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Lifeline Hospital, Wintersville, OH.
Henry was born on December 28, 1921 in Follansbee.
Henry served during WWII in the United States Army. He retired home and worked 44 years at Koppers Industries of Follansbee.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Lawrence, a sister, Alberta Gale.
Henry is survived by his step-son, Charles Hess, a brother, John Lawrence, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 1:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717, with Reverend Carl Tribett, officiating.
Military Escort by the WV Patriot Guard to the entombment at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV with Military Honors by the WV Army National Guard and the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
