Obituary for Kenneth Wayne Durbin

Kenneth Wayne Durbin, 66, of Wheeling, WV, passed away at 10:33 PM on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV.

Kenneth was born on April 13, 1950 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late Carl H. and Mary E. (Palmer) Durbin.

Kenneth retired as a coal miner from Winsor Coal Company, West Liberty. Many will remember Kenneth for his love of fishing.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandson, Chance and a brother, Robert Durbin.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 30 years, Esther Ann Durbin, five children, Gordon Durbin and his fiancé, Holly Atkinson of Washington, PA, James Durbin and his fiancé, Tammy Goff of Charleston, WV, Kenneth Durbin of Charleston, WV, Tiffany Durbin and her fiancée Miroslav Baljak of Phoenix, AZ and Angela Durbin of Wheeling, WV, 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a brother, Carl Durbin of Florida, a sister, Mary Carla Lesinski of Phoenix, AZ and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg (304) 737-3551 and again on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 10 until time of Funeral Service at the Chapel at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg with his good friend, Pastor Harry “Sonny” Croft, officiating. Interment will follow the service.
