Obituary for Barbara "Bobbie" Jean Dudley

Barbara “Bobbie” Jean Dudley, 73, of Wellsburg, WV, was called home to Heaven at 9:48 AM on August 23, 2016 at her residence.

Barb was born on October 23, 1942 in Wellsburg, WV. She was the daughter of Reed and Cannie (Caffee) Dudley.

Barb retired from the stamping department at Eagle Manufacturing, Wellsburg, WV and formerly Valley Press as a proofreader. She was a member of Henderson Chapel A.M.E., Wellsburg, WV. Many will remember Barb for her cakes, being an avid Bowler, and never meeting a kid that she didn’t like.

In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her sister, Dr. Carolyn Ann Darling.

Barb is survived by her five brothers and sisters, Starlon (Dolores) Dudley and Rufus Dudley, all of Cleveland, OH, Ruth Clay, Margree Campbell, and Daniel (Pam) Dudley, all of Wellsburg, WV, and seven nieces and nephews, TaRita Corrin of Marina Del Rey, CA, Kelly Dudley, Cleveland, OH, Timothy and Torrome Clay of Los Angeles, CA, Freddie Darling of Louisiana, Amanda Dudley of Wellsburg, WV, and Daniel “D.D.” Dudley, Burbank, CA.
Private interment will be held at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.

Arrangements under the direction and care of Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551.
