Obituary for Luetta Carol Stillwell (Harris)
Luetta Carol (Harris) Stillwell, 74, of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV under the care of the staff and Valley Hospice.
Luetta was born on April 9, 1942 in Weirton, WV. She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Lucille Harris
Luetta retired from the former Valley Press in Wellsburg after 16 years. Many will remember Luetta for her baking, sewing, jigsaw puzzles, but most of all for her unending care and dedication to animals.
In addition to her parents, Luetta was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Stillwell, three brothers, Jim and Dean Harless and Robert Arnold, and two sisters, Vicki and Ruth.
Luetta is survived by her three children, Mark Stillwell and his wife, Michelle, Tracey Miser, and Samuel Stillwell, a grandson, Ryan Stillwell, all of Follansbee, WV, a brother, Ronnie Harless, a sister, Joann, and several nephews and nieces, especially her dear niece, Cathy Stewart and her daughter, Jodi Stewart.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717.
Graveside Service and Interment will be held privately at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV with Funeral Chaplain, Reverend Sharon Van Dam, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any local animal shelter for continued care of animals.
