Obituary for Mary Llda DiPasquale (Johnston)

Mary Llda  DiPasquale (Johnston)
Mary Llda (Johnston) DiPasquale, 89, of Follansbee, WV, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at her residence at 1:20 A.M. on Thursday, January 5, 2017 under the care of her family and Valley Hospice.

Mary Llda was born on August 15, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Jessie (Sweeney) Johnston.

Mary Llda was a devout member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, WV, where she served on the Altar and Rosary Society.

In addition to her parents, Mary Llda was preceded in death by her three brothers, John, Robert and Richard Johnston, and a sister, Emma Patterson.

Mary Llda is survived by her husband of 68 years, Michael Joseph DiPasquale, three daughters, Carolyn DiPasquale, Michele Firestone and her husband, David, and Donna DiPasquale, all of Follansbee, WV, a brother, Tom Johnston of Steubenville, OH, a sister-in-law, Margaret "Chuffy" Mains of Follansbee, WV, several nieces and nephews, special neighbors and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM with Vigil Service at 6:30 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV, where funeral will commence Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 12 Noon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 12:30 PM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1017 Jefferson Street, Follansbee, WV, Father Thomas R. Gallagher and Msgr. Paul Hudock, concelebrating.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Llda's name to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943 or St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1017 Jefferson Street, Follansbee, WV 26037
